A PORTRAIT PARK by J was conceived in Mesa, Arizona, l990 but the birth occurred in Prescott, Arizona l99l.

Jay and his mother Hildy visualized the indoor/outdoor studio, gave it a name, then set out to make it a reality.

After looking in many towns, cities, and hamlets for a suitable location, Prescott was their choice.

Jay and Hildy combined their creative talent, experience, business acumen and by the grace of God, the studio was a success from the beginning.

One of the best things to happen to the family and studio was Terilyn, Jay’s wife. She and Jay met at a photography workshop in California and married in 2001. Teri’s photographic talent and good humor are a great asset.

Managing and promoting their studio is a team effort. Jay, Terilyn, and Hildy work together, play together and thank God that Prescott has made them their hometown photographer.
